Nogies Creek Cemetery

We Need Your Help

In the early 1960's vandalism took place at Nogies Creek Cemetery. Most of the stones were removed.

Over the years a wonderful group of individuals have taken time to care for this abandoned cemetery.

A monument was added by the GHHS, listing the names of those that we know are buried there.

Concrete crosses were handmade by the late Ernie Brumwell and placed where bodies were known to be buried.

We have an original list of names of those buried in the cemetery although we feel it is incomplete.

We can find no records of who is buried where.

We are in the process of continuing our research on the cemetery.

We are looking for obituaries, photographs of the original cemetery, and names of those not on the original list, and information on the individuals buried there.

Please check your photo albums, bibles, attics, etc. and see if you have anything that may help us.

We do not require your original copies, but are are just asking to view them and make a copy of them.

Please contact: Stephanie Eddy if you can help.

OR drop by the centre.
